I always think this painting is by Edvard Munch, probably due to the pained faces of the central figures. I guess it also might have something to do with Boccioni being so prominently associated with the Futurist movement. However, by examining his earlier work, one could mistake Boccioni for an expressionist, or even an impressionist.
